I am the author of Surviving the Louisiana Criminal Justice System which was written to help people understand the various parts of a criminal case in Louisiana and how to prepare for each.

I believe that one of the most important skills a lawyer can have is the ability to listen. If I don't understand your needs and goals for a case we can never acheive a successful outcome. Before I went to law school I owned a small business in Baton Rouge and had hired lawyers on more than one occasion. It seemed that they never heard my concerns and I never knew what was going on in the cases. Because of that experience I make it important to hear the concerns of my clients and to keep them informed of the progress of their cases.
